Performer Bill of Rights

  1. You have the right to call cut if you are uncomfortable or need to take a break for any reason.

  2. You have the right to establish your boundaries and limitations in both written and verbal form prior to cameras rolling.

  3. You have the right to establish safe words and signals which MUST, to the best of your scene partner and crew’s abilities, be respected immediately.

  4. You have the right to a physically, verbally, and emotionally safe work environment.

  5. You have the right to request accommodations and/or modifications to the scene for any reason, including but not limited to physical discomfort, injury, sickness, moral conflict, and emotional distress.

  6. You have the right to request copies and/or visual verification of your scene partners’ STI test paperwork and results. 

  7. You have the right to request a visual inspection of your scene partner to assess any potential STI outbreaks or other health concerns.

  8. You have the right to request physical and/or digital copies of any paperwork you are asked to complete on set.

  9. You have the right to express any negative experiences either to your crew, producer, agent, or any independent regulatory party who can respond accordingly. 

  10. You have the right to receive your paychecks directly, either via paper check, cash in hand, or direct deposit. 

  11. You have a right to be compensated at the agreed rate upon completion of the scene.

  12. You have the right to advance communication regarding your rates, scene filming location, call time, crew, themes, and partners, as well as any additional requests.

  13. You have the right to establish a “No” list of any dangerous or troubling scene partners and crew members with whom you do not feel comfortable working.

  14. You have the right to privacy during breaks on set.

  15. You have the right to a clean and sanitary set.
